Keep the contact centre you already have

The agentic layer runs on AWS and sits on top of Genesys, Avaya, Amazon Connect, NICE or Five9. You do not migrate a platform to get autonomous agents.

The agent layer sits on top

Your contact centre platform stays where it is. The agentic layer runs on AWS alongside it, takes the contacts you choose to route to it, and hands anything it cannot resolve back to your existing platform with the context attached.

How it connects to what you run

Genesys

Genesys Cloud and Engage

Contacts reach the agent layer over SIP or through the platform's own routing, and return as a transfer carrying the interaction context. Your routing strategies, reporting and workforce management stay in Genesys.

Avaya

Avaya Aura and Elite

Common on estates that are not ready to migrate. The agent layer takes overflow or specific intents over SIP, so you get autonomous handling without touching a platform mid contract.

Amazon Connect

Amazon Connect

The native path. Contact flows call the agent directly, speech to speech runs on Amazon Nova Sonic, and Q in Connect handles knowledge grounded answers. Fewest moving parts and the lowest latency.

NICEFive9

NICE CXone and Five9

Same overlay pattern. Contacts in over SIP or API, escalation back with context, your existing reporting untouched.

Escalation is the part everyone gets wrong

An agent that transfers a confused customer to a human who knows nothing is worse than no agent at all. This is what lands on your advisor's screen before they speak.

What the advisor sees

Why the transfer happened, in one line. What the customer asked for, in their words. What the agent already did, including anything written to a system. What it could not do and why. Any vulnerability or compliance flag, with the rule that fired. Verified identity status, so nobody re-authenticates a customer who already passed.

What the customer experiences

They do not repeat themselves. They are not asked to confirm their details again. They are not told to call a different number. The advisor opens with what the agent already established, which is the difference between an escalation that rescues the contact and one that loses the customer.
